Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer I to oversee and improve CNC machining processes for rifle and pistol components. You will design processes, fixtures, tooling, and control plans, aiming for quality and cost efficiency.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering and strong analytical skills. Day-to-day duties include hands-on production support, process documentation, and collaboration with Engineering Lead.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering required.
Strong analytical thinking and technical aptitude.
Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Design new processes from start to finish including machine selection, fixtures, tooling, and control plans.
Identify areas for improvement and cost savings analysis.
Resolve quality issues and improve throughput.
Track tasks with engineering leads and supervisors using project boards and spreadsheets.
Maintain organization and project management to ensure on-time delivery and product quality.
Support senior engineers with new processes, equipment, and product development.
