Job summary

Morris Group, Inc., a leading machine tool distributor, seeks a Field Service Technician to install, repair and maintain CNC machine tools and controls at customer sites. This role requires independent work to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

You will travel to customer sites to diagnose and repair equipment, reference manuals, document outcomes, and provide preventative maintenance and after‑sales support. A strong communicator is essential.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience with CNC machine repair.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
• Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel regionally and work flexibly.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machine tool equipment and controls.
• Research machine issues using manuals and vendor resources.
• Document status of issues, repairs, and installations for office and customers.
• Provide preventative maintenance and after‑sales technical support and training.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of machine tool products represented by the company.
