Job summary

Morris Group, Inc., a leading machine tool distributor in North America, is seeking an ambitious CNC Field Service Technician to support Haas machine tools across the region including Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC equipment on customer sites.

Ideal candidates have mechanical/electrical repair experience with CNC tools, proficiency in reading schematics, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical/ electrical repair of CNC machine tools; Haas CNC Repair background a plus
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics beneficial
• Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills
• Flexible hours and frequent travel, including driving throughout a regional territory
• Must be able to perform bending, twisting, stooping, reaching and lifting of moderate to heavyweight material up to 100 lbs. with assistance from equipment or other employees

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment
• Consult manuals and vendor resources to diagnose issues
• Document status of issues, repairs, and installations for office and customers
• Perform preventative maintenance and after-sales technical support
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of machine tool products represented
• Perform related duties as required
