Job summary

White-Recruitment is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to install, service and repair CNC machine tools at customer sites across Indiana and surrounding states. You’ll troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues, carry out machine installations and calibrations, and train customers on equipment operation.

Most work will be across Indiana, although candidates based in surrounding states will also be considered.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of field service engineering experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and hydraulic/pneumatic circuits.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, level, align, calibrate and wire CNC machines and accessories.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and software faults.
• Test machine operation following installation and repairs.
• Train customers on machine functions and operation.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, PLCs and hydraulic/pneumatic circuits.
• Complete service reports documenting faults, repairs and parts used.
