Job summary

HomeWell Care Services in Florida is seeking CNA/HHA caregivers to join full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules. The role involves engaging with clients in Volusia, Flagler, and St.

Johns counties, providing high-quality in-home care including daily living activities, mobility assistance, meal prep, and companionship. Ideal candidates have dementia experience, ACLS-related skills, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA or Home Health Aide certification or completed training.
• Minimum 2 years of caregiver experience preferred.
• Experience with dementia and ADL/IADL tasks is required.
• Experience with wound care, catheter care, and patient transfers preferred.
• Strong communication and compassionate patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Monitor vital signs and document observations.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals per dietary needs and preferences.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks related to care needs.

• Experience with Dementia

• Experience with limited non weight bearing patients.

• Experience working with patients that has wound management

• Experience working with Super pubic catheters

• Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed

• RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!

• 2 YEARS MIN EXP WITH AS A CAREGIVER (preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.

• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques.

• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and individual preferences.

• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients

• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up.

Requirements:

• Valid certification as a CNA or Home Health Aide or completion of a recognized training program.

• Experience in providing patient care preferred.

• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare practices.

• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely and comfortably.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients in need of assistance.

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
