Job summary

HomeWell Care Services, Inc. is seeking caring CNAs or HHAs to join our team in Volusia, Flagler and St. Johns counties. Full-time, part-time, and PRN hours are available, with a focus on independent, compassionate patient care in home settings.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, mobility transfers, and providing companionship while adhering to safety practices.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA or HHA certificate or completion of a recognized training program.
• Experience in patient care preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare practices.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely.
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and professionals.
• Compassionate and caring attitude.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Monitor vital signs and record observations.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying.

• Experience with Dementia
• Experience with ADL's and IADL's
• Experience with limited non weight bearing patients.
• Experience working with patients that has wound management
• Experience working with Super pubic catheters
• Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed
• RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!
• 2 YEARS MIN EXP WITH AS A CAREGIVER (preferred)
