Job summary

HomeWell Care Services in Palm Coast, FL is seeking CNAs and HHAs for full‑time and part‑time roles. Shifts run 9:00 AM–9:00 PM with pay at $17 per hour.

You will provide direct patient care under supervision, assist with ADLs/IADLs, monitor vital signs, help with mobility, prepare meals, provide companionship, and support with light housekeeping. Requirements include CNA/HHA certification or recognized training, patient care experience, medical terminology knowledge, safe lifting ability,

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA certification or completion of a recognized training program.
• Experience in patient care is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare practices.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and healthcare professionals.
• Compassionate and caring attitude toward patients.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Monitor and record vital signs (BP, temperature, pulse).
• Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
• Prepare and serve meals per dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with light housekeeping (laundry, tidying).

Skills

• Experience with Dementia

• Experience with ADL's and IADL's

• Experience with limited non weight bearing patients.

• Experience working with patients that has wound management

• Experience working with Super pubic catheters

• Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed

• RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!

• 2 YEARS MIN EXP WITH AS A CAREGIVER (preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Valid certification as a CNA or Home Health Aide or completion of a recognized training program.

• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare practices.

• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely and comfortably.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

• Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients in need of assistance.

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
