Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in configuration management, CMDB administration, or ITSM roles.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or BMC Remedy and ITIL guidance.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the CMDB data model, class structures, and relationship mappings.
• Establish and enforce configuration management policies and naming conventions.
• Integrate CM data with change, incident, and problem workflows for impact analysis.
• Conduct regular configuration audits and remediation activities with owning teams.
• Collaborate with platform admins to implement CMDB capabilities in ServiceNow.
• Produce configuration reports and visualizations for risk assessment and compliance.
• Coordinate with change, incident, and release management to keep data accurate.
• Lead or contribute to CMDB implementation and continuous improvement across hybrid infra.
