Job summary

Excel Fitness is seeking a seasoned Club Operations leader to drive performance at a Texas location. You will mentor the team, manage budgets, and ensure service excellence, while coordinating with regional leaders on staffing and training. This role requires strong communication, coaching, and adherence to brand standards.

The role involves hands-on supervision of up to 20 Team Players, ensuring club operations run smoothly, and readiness for potential future GM opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• At least six (6) months of equivalent management experience required.
• CPR/AED certification required; training provided if not certified within 30 days.
• Proven ability to lead, inspire, develop, and supervise others.
• Familiar with Excel, Planet Fitness brand standards, KPI metrics.
• Strong leadership to manage a team and meet standards.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate next generation of leaders by identifying strengths and training opportunities.
• Lead the AM in planning strategies to attract and retain members based on core values.
• Ensure staff are proficient with app, tablet, and POS operations.
• Ensure staff stay up to date on certifications, trainings, and promotions.
• Utilize club reporting and KPI platforms to align with targets.
• Manage club budget and expenses to ensure profitable operation.
• Oversee, supervise, and inspire staff to perform at best levels.
• Conduct regular audits and maintain Excel standards.
• Lead by example and address non-compliance promptly.
• Perform Team Player Assessments and competency evaluations.
• Communicate with members and foster high-level service.
• Create job postings, interview, hire, and train new staff.
• Coach and document with performance management as needed.
• Collaborate with RM, Sr. GM, AM, and HR on counseling and actions.
