Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/AED certification required. Uncertified Team Players will be given the opportunity to complete CPR/AED training within the first 30 days of employment.
• Proven ability to lead, encourage, develop, and supervise the work of others.
• Familiar with Excel mission, values, vision, and culture, as well as the Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership to manage a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM in planning and implementing strategies to attract and keep members based on Excel Core Values and culture.
• Accountable for the hiring process, from selecting candidates, interviewing, to onboarding documentation.
• Train and develop new team members and ensure certifications are up to date.
• Supervise, motivate, and coach up to 20 Team Players to perform at their best.
• Monitor KPI goals and metrics for the club and report to GM and HQ.
