Job summary

Crusoe Cloud is hiring a Cloud Support Engineer to empower customers using sustainable, low-cost GPU compute power. You will be the primary contact for technical support, enabling customers to achieve AI/ML, physics, and computational biology goals.

The role centers on Linux, cloud tech, and collaboration with SRE, Networking, and Storage teams to resolve complex issues. We value strong communication, 2+ years in support, and a passion for sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of equivalent technical experience.
• Strong CLI skills in Linux environments.
• Proficiency with Git for code management and collaboration.
• 2+ years in a customer support role, ideally in cloud, storage, or networking.
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and workload management (Slurm, Terraform).
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional technical support to customers via Zendesk, meeting SLAs and maintaining high CSAT.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for timely issue resolution.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to VMs, hardware, and scaling tests using CLI and internal tools.
• Manage alert triage, prepare for maintenance windows, and conduct node delivery testing.
• Collaborate with SRE, Networking, and Storage teams from triage to RCA delivery.
• Adhere to global team processes for ticketing and on-call handoffs.
• Develop onboarding materials, knowledge base docs, and SOPs.
