Job summary

Check Point Software Technologies in Washington, DC is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer with strong pre-sales experience to partner with sales teams and clients. You will define cloud security strategies, articulate CloudGuard value, and design end-to-end security solutions across multi-cloud environments.

You will engage with cloud, devops, and devsecops leaders to identify opportunities, present PoCs, and respond to RFIs/RFPs, while traveling 10-20% within the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering and pre-sales experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% in the United States.
• Solid understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Expertise in Cloud Firewalls, Native and 3rd party
• Deep expertise in Web Application Firewalls
• Deep expertise in Cloud Networking
• Understanding of container and serverless architectures
• Ability to create an end-to-end cloud security solution for a customer’s environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Relevant certifications highly preferred (CCNP/CISSP/CCSA/CCSE/CCVSE/CCIE)
• Experience with enterprise programs governance and cyber risk management

Responsibilities

• Identify CloudGuard opportunities with sales teams and partners.
• Define strategies with cloud, devops and devsecops leaders.
• Demonstrate CloudGuard value propositions.
• Educate customers on CloudGuard solutions.
• Drive meetings to identify cloud-related needs.
• Address technical questions and PoCs.
• Participate in cybersecurity events, blogs, whitepapers.
• Respond to RFIs & RFPs.
• Define cloud information security strategies aligned with business goals.
• Assess security architecture and recommend corrective actions.
