Job summary

Check Point Software is seeking a seasoned CloudGuard-focused engineer to drive pre‑sales and technical engagements across the US. You will partner with sales, cloud, DevOps, and security teams to tailor security architectures, demonstrate value, and guide customers through PoCs and RFP responses.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in engineering/pre‑sales, deep cloud security expertise, and a track record in multi‑cloud environments. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering and pre-sales experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for technology and risk assessments.
• Willing to travel 10–20% within the United States.
• Deep expertise in Cloud Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, Cloud Networking.
• Understanding of container and serverless architectures.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Certifications such as CCNP/CISSP/CCSA/CCSE/CCVSE/CCIE are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with sales teams and partners to identify CloudGuard opportunities.
• Collaborate with cloud, DevOps, and DevSecOps leaders to define strategies and communicate value.
• Demonstrate how CloudGuard protects data and cloud workloads.
• Educate customers on technical and business challenges and CloudGuard solutions.
• Lead meetings to identify cloud-related needs and provide PoC options.
• Participate in cybersecurity events, blogs, and whitepapers.
• Respond to RFIs & RFPs; define cloud information security strategies.
