Job summary

Check Point Software Technologies is seeking a CloudGuard-focused pre-sales engineer in the United States to collaborate with sales teams and customers, shaping cloud security strategies and demonstrating value across multi-cloud environments.

You will engage with cloud leaders, articulate protection for data and workloads, and support ongoing Proof-of-Concepts while contributing to thought leadership through blogs and events. Travel 10%–20% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering and pre-sales experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to conduct technology and risk assessments.
• Willingness to travel 10%–20% across the United States.
• Understanding of public cloud platforms and multi-cloud deployments.
• Deep expertise in Cloud Firewalls and Web Application Firewalls.
• Ability to design end-to-end cloud security solutions for customers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams and partners to identify CloudGuard opportunities.
• Define strategies with cloud, DevOps, and DevSecOps leaders and communicate CloudGuard value.
• Demonstrate how CloudGuard protects data and workloads across cloud environments.
• Educate customers on CloudGuard solutions addressing technical and business challenges.
• Lead meetings with customers to identify cloud-related needs and propose solutions.
• Address technical questions and guide Proof-of-Concepts.
• Engage in cybersecurity events, blogs, and whitepapers.
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs.
• Define cloud information security strategies aligned with business goals.
• Assess security architectures and recommend corrective actions.
