Job summary

Amazon in Arlington, VA is seeking an Associate Account Executive, SMB Engaged (CAR) to drive pipeline and revenue across AWS accounts in a fast-paced cloud environment.

You will partner with account teams, lead high-volume outreach, and use AI-powered tools to identify opportunities, qualify leads, and convert them into growth across new and existing customers. This is an entry-point into AWS's North American sales organization with mentorship and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 2+ years in sales, business development, lead generation, or customer-facing roles.
• 1+ years in technology sales, SaaS, or cloud services (preferred).
• Experience with outbound prospecting tools and techniques (cold calling, social selling, email sequencing).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Teams to understand industries, accounts and personas in your territories.
• Lead top-of-funnel activity: prospect at scale and source net-new contacts.
• Drive net-new business via outbound campaigns and qualify leads from marketing.
• Expand services breadth within existing customer base through account planning.
• Deliver results: contacts sourced, leads qualified, meetings scheduled, opportunities created.
• Leverage AI-powered sales tools to identify high-propensity accounts and optimize pipeline.
• Collaborate with teammates to share best practices and raise customer engagement.
