Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Platform Engineer to join a team delivering secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for federal environments. You will automate deployment, strengthen platform stability, and support operations across engineering and cybersecurity teams.

Responsibilities include configuring AWS and Azure, managing compute/storage, and developing infrastructure as code. Candidates must have an active Secret clearance and proficiency in scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash).

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Hands-on AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Working knowledge of Linux or Windows administration.
• Proficient in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code practices.
• Experience with source control and automated deployment workflows.
• Understanding of IP networking and cloud service connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure
• Provision and manage compute, storage, and networking resources
• Develop reusable infrastructure as code for automation
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment testing
• Manage identity and access permissions and platform security
• Monitor platform health and performance metrics
• Troubleshoot incidents and document corrective actions
