Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our team delivering mission-critical platforms across AWS, Azure, and other cloud environments. You will understand how computing resources are structured and distributed, prioritizing usage to allocate funds and workloads efficiently.

Responsibilities include supporting cloud systems, performing capacity planning, collaborating with support teams on patching and onboarding, and deploying applications across classification levels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters (TKG, Konvoy)
• 5+ years DevOps experience (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, IaC)
• 5+ years cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
• 5+ years Windows Server and/or Linux admin
• 3+ years identity management tools (Active Directory, AWS IAM, etc.)
• 3+ years deploying containerized apps (Jira, Confluence, GitLab)
• 3+ years PowerShell and/or Bash scripting
• General networking principles understanding
• Experience with RHEL
• DoD 8570 IAT II certification (Security+)

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cloud systems and environments
• Support day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices
• Collaborate with support teams on workload management, patch management, and onboarding
• Optimize cloud system operations and perform capacity analysis and planning
• Provide detailed analysis and feedback to management and customers for escalated tickets
• Support deployment of applications across multiple classification levels
• Support requirements to capabilities analysis and implementation
