Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Platform Engineer to join a team delivering secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for federal environments. You will automate deployment, strengthen platform stability, and support operations across engineering and cybersecurity teams.

Responsibilities include configuring AWS and Azure, managing compute/storage, and developing infrastructure as code. Candidates must have an active Secret clearance and proficiency in scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash).

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Hands-on AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Working knowledge of Linux or Windows administration.
• Proficient in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code practices.
• Experience with source control and automated deployment workflows.
• Understanding of IP networking and cloud service connectivity.

For our client, we are seeking a Platform Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This role will focus on building and supporting secure, reliable cloud infrastructure that enables mission-driven operations in federal environments. The Platform Engineer will work across engineering and cybersecurity teams to automate deployment, strengthen platform stability, and improve operational efficiency. Success in this position will require hands‑on expertise with cloud services, scripting, and infrastructure automation.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $134,368 – $232,404 annually
