Amazon is seeking a Cloud Intelligence Field BDM to partner with the AWS field sales team and help customers understand why AWS is the best cloud partner for their business. You will coach sales teams, develop differentiation strategies, and communicate compelling value propositions to executives.

The role blends business and technology, requires travel for workshops, and demands expertise in cloud services, market intelligence, and strategic engagement with senior clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
• 5+ years of professional or military experience
• 5+ years of working with Core Cloud Technology Services, including Compute/Edge/Hybrid/Security/Networking
• 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
• 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies (AI/ML/GenAI/Analytics/DB/Storage)
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams
• Experience selling enterprise software or cloud-based applications
• Experience explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Experience presenting to technical and non-technical executives
• Experience leading cross-functional, multi-year initiatives

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable competitive strategies to enable winning key strategic deals
• Coach and develop large deal closing capability
• Be the go-to resource for an AWS field sales segment and leadership for AWS differentiation
• Articulate the business value of AWS propositions to customers' strategic objectives
• Influence C-level executives within customer organizations and AWS
• Support strategic, in-person workshops (travel required)
• Develop and share cloud adoption trends and blockers across the cloud ecosystem
• Create field-friendly content and trainings to upskill field teams
• Track signals and insights to improve AWS offerings
• Influence internal stakeholders to better differentiate AWS value
