Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Cloud Intelligence Field BDM in New Jersey to partner with AWS field sales, craft compelling business cases, and differentiate AWS offerings in competitive cloud markets. You will coach teams, influence executives, and drive complex engagements across diverse customer segments.

You will leverage market intelligence, develop field-friendly content, and participate in in-person workshops and travel as needed to accelerate strategic deals and customer value

Qualifications

• 5+ years developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
• 5+ years of professional or military experience.
• 5+ years with Core Cloud Technology Services (Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, Networking).
• 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.
• 5+ years working with Data & AI technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, Storage).
• Experience influencing leadership decisions at the organizational level.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams and coordinating releases.
• Experience selling enterprise software or cloud-based applications.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to business and technical audiences.
• Experience presenting to executive audiences and leading multi-year initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable competitive strategies to enable winning key strategic deals.
• Coach and develop large deal closing capability.
• Be the go-to resource for AWS differentiation for a field sales segment.
• Articulate business value of AWS propositions to customers, from strategy to execution.
• Influence C-level executives and senior leaders in customer organizations and AWS.
• Support strategic workshops, travel as required.
• Develop and share cloud adoption trends and blockers across the cloud ecosystem.
• Enable field teams through content development and trainings.
• Track signals to provide insights to improve offerings.
• Influence internal stakeholders on market realities to differentiate AWS value.
