Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a Cloud Intelligence Field BDM to develop scalable competitive strategies and enable the closure of major deals across AWS. You will collaborate with field sales, leadership, and cross-functional teams to craft compelling value propositions and win opportunities.

In this role, you will coach teams, analyze market signals, and create field-ready content while traveling for workshops. You will influence C-level executives and help differentiate AWS with data-driven insights

Qualifications

• 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
• 5+ years of experience with Core Cloud Technology Services (Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, Networking)
• 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
• Experience leading multi-year, cross-functional programs
• Experience selling enterprise software or cloud-based applications
• Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
• Experience presenting to executive audiences
• Experience partnering with legal teams on complex agreements

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable competitive strategies to enable winning key strategic deals.
• Support, coach, and develop large deal closing capability.
• Be the go-to resource for an AWS field sales segment and sales leadership for AWS differentiation.
• Leverage excellent communication skills to articulate the business value of AWS value propositions.
• Demonstrate the ability to earn trust with and influence C-level executives in customer organizations and within AWS.
• Support strategic, in-person workshops (travel).
• Develop and share cloud adoption trends and blockers across the cloud ecosystem.
• Enable and upskill field teams through development of field-friendly content, and delivery of trainings.
• Track signals and identify opportunities, in order to provide Cloud Intelligence with insight to improve offerings.
• Influence internal stakeholders on market realities, with the objective to further differentiate AWS’s value.
