Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to support global cloud infrastructure and data center operations. You will perform server hardware diagnostics, rack installations, and network troubleshooting to ensure continuous service availability across AWS services.

The role requires on-call rotation, travel between data centers, and occasional relocation support. A strong hardware/network background and willingness to work flexible shifts are essential for success.

Qualifications

2 years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting experience or related IT experience.
2 years of computer layer 1/2 networking experience including troubleshooting and repair.
Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Performing server rack installations, hardware break-fix and network troubleshooting to maintain service availability.
Serving as a primary contact point for internal/external stakeholders and vendors.
On-call duties and participation in maintenance/change management activities.
Contributing to documentation and process improvement based on issue analysis.
Helping interview, train and onboard new team members.
