Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is hiring a Data Center Technician to diagnose and repair server hardware and networks, participate in on-call rotations, and ensure continuous data center operations. Qualifications

• 18+ months of computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT experience.
• 18+ months of computer layer 1/2 networking experience (including troubleshooting and repair).
• Willingness to travel between data center locations and work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix on components.
• Troubleshoot network issues and respond to operational incidents affecting service availability.
• Carry out routine network, server hardware, and OS repairs.
• Serve as primary contact point for internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to documentation and participate in on-call rotation and maintenance.
