Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in York County, PA is seeking an Assistant Closing Manager to lead the club’s final-hour operations. You’ll oversee Recovery, Utility, and Perishable departments and act as MOD as needed, ensuring cleanliness, stock, and a seamless morning open.

You will coach teams, enforce Gold Standards, drive safety and food-safety training, and collaborate with club leadership to deliver a premium member experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in retail, supermarket, or warehouse perishable operations preferred.
• Experience in managing inventory turnover and waste reduction strategies.
• SERV Safe certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Recovery, Utility, and Perishable departments during closing.
• Lead by presence and coach team for accurate end-of-day execution.
• Ensure GOLD standards are met and that the club is ready for morning open.
