Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking a Closing Manager to lead the front-line teams and oversee club operations. You will manage the Assistant Closing Manager, Recovery, and Utility teams, ensuring policy adherence, safety, and a superior member experience.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to drive performance across departments with accountability for GOLD standards and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience in a retail club or similar environment.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• Ability to analyze data and drive improvements.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the Closing Manager team, Recovery and Utility departments.
• Ensure club policies, procedures and service standards (GOLD/LAST) are followed.
• Assist in audits and collaborate with Business Partners to drive performance.
• Coordinate onboarding, certification, training, and safety compliance (ServSafe).
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) and take responsibility for club operations during shifts.
