Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Closing Manager to lead club operations, oversee Recovery, Utility, and Perishables, and ensure daily GOLD standards are met. You will manage the Assistant Closing Manager and team, uphold food safety, and drive member satisfaction during evening shifts.

Responsibilities include auditing, coaching, and coordinating with Club Manager and department leads, while maintaining safety, training, and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in retail, supermarket, or warehouse perishable operations.
• Forklift certification required.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Open shift availability required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• MS Word and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own end-of-day closing execution for Recovery, Utility, and perishables.
• Lead by presence and engage Members during closing hours.
• Maintain GOLD standards and ensure clean, stocked departments.
• Coach and schedule Assistant Closing Manager and teams.
• Ensure safety and sanitation compliance daily.
