Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to lead and coach the store team in delivering exceptional patient care while achieving clinical goals. You will work with the Brand Manager and Clinical Operations to supervise daily activities and patient screening, testing, and documentation in a fast-paced setting.

This role requires retail or clinical leadership experience, excellent communication, and a passion for training others.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management or clinical leadership experience.
• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school, or enrollment in a comparable program.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Passion for exceptional patient care and willingness to mentor others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and scheduling needs.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs and other basic office tools.
• Optical or clinical experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store team to meet clinical goals with guidance from Clinical Operations.
• Act as Manager on Duty to support store's operational and sales goals.
• Greet patients and assess needs to ensure a memorable experience.
• Drive sales while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Resolve issues and train staff on troubleshooting techniques.
• Oversee Doctor Technicians in diagnostic testing, refraction, and lens care.
• Ensure training guidelines and clinical standards are executed.
• Maintain accurate patient records with HIPAA compliance.
• Ensure store brand standards with basic housekeeping when needed.
• Coach Doctor Technicians on contact lens insertion/removal; manage inventory.
