Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Clinical Services Manager in California to lead store teams and oversee clinical services, ensuring HIPAA compliance and high-quality patient care. You will act as Manager on Duty to meet clinical, operational, and sales goals.

The role requires retail/clinical leadership experience, strong communication, and a passion for training others. Optical experience is preferred; MS Word/Google Docs proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management experience or experience in a clinical leadership role.
• An associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Passion for exceptional customer/patient care and a willingness to mentor and train others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule requirements.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs, and other basic office tools.
• Optical or clinical experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• As Clinical Services Manager, supervise store team to meet clinical goals under Clinical Operations guidance.
• Act as Manager on Duty to achieve store goals and support operational and sales targets.
• Greet patients, identify needs, and provide information on products and services.
• Drive sales while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Provide training on troubleshooting techniques and clinical protocols.
• Ensure compliance with training guidelines, protocols, and HIPAA standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and store brand standards.
• Coach Doctor Technicians on contact lens care and clinical procedures.
• Oversee contact lens orders, trials, and inventory management.
