Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Clinical Services Manager for an on-site store location. You will supervise the team, coach doctors and technicians, and ensure clinical standards and HIPAA compliance while driving sales and delivering an exceptional patient experience.

You will act as Manager on Duty and collaborate with the Clinical Operations Department to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets, with a focus on service quality and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management experience or experience in a clinical leadership role.
• An associates degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced team environment.
• Passion for exceptional customer/patient care and a willingness to mentor and train others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule requirements.
• Knowledge of MS Word Google Docs and other basic office tools.
• Optical or clinical experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support to the store team to meet clinical goals with guidance from the Clinical Operations Department.
• Occasionally act as Manager on Duty to meet store goals and support operational and sales targets.
• Greet patients and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience and provide product/service information.
• Drive sales to exceed revenue goals while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Resolve customer issues and train the team on troubleshooting techniques.
• Coach and train Doctors and Technicians on clinical procedures and standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Oversee contact lens protocols and inventory management.
