Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to oversee the store’s clinical operations and support the Brand Manager in achieving clinical goals. You will work with the Clinical Operations Department and often serve as Manager on Duty to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets while upholding patient care standards.

The role focuses on coaching Doctor Technicians, ensuring proper diagnostic testing, and maintaining high-quality records.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management experience or experience in a clinical leadership role.
• An associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Passion for exceptional customer/patient care and a willingness to mentor and train others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule requirements.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs, and other basic office tools.
• Optical or clinical experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience.
• Drive sales to exceed revenue goals while delivering outstanding service.
• Resolve customer issues and train the team on troubleshooting techniques.
• Supervise Doctor Technicians on diagnostic testing, refraction, contact lens care, and PEG standards.
• Ensure training guidelines, procedures, and clinical standards are followed across the store.
• Maintain accurate patient records and HIPAA compliance.
• Ensure store brand standards through housekeeping and organization.
• Coach Doctor Technicians and cross-trained staff on contact lens care.
• Oversee protocols for contact lens orders and trials and inventory management.
