Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to lead store-based clinical operations. You will supervise the team, ensure high-quality patient care, and drive clinical and sales goals in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with the Clinical Operations Department to maintain standards, train staff, and ensure proper documentation and HIPAA compliance in Raleigh-area stores.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management experience or experience in a clinical leadership role.
• An associates degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced team environment.
• Passion for exceptional customer/patient care and a willingness to mentor and train others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule requirements.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs and other basic office tools.
• Optical or clinical experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet our patients as they enter the store and identify needs to provide information on products and services.
• Drive sales to exceed personal and store revenue goals while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Resolve customer issues and improve satisfaction through training of the team on troubleshooting.
• Provide supervision and guidance to Doctors and Technicians on diagnostic testing and care procedures.
• Ensure training guidelines, procedures and certification requirements are followed at the highest level.
• Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Ensure store brand standards by performing basic housekeeping duties as needed.
• Coach and train Doctor Technicians and cross-trained staff on contact lens insertion/removal.
• Oversee protocols for lens orders and trials and manage diagnostic lens inventory weekly.
