Job summary

TEEMA Group is seeking a Medical Program Assistant Associate to join our on-site Health Service Unit in a correctional setting. You will coordinate patient scheduling, manage medical records, and support clinical staff while ensuring patient privacy and regulatory compliance.

The role requires at least 1 year of scheduling experience or CNA/MA experience, with strong communication skills and active BLS with AED training. This is a full-time contract position located on-site in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of patient scheduling experience in a clinical setting OR 1 year of CNA/MA experience.
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with AED training.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient appointments and program schedules to keep clinical workflows efficient.
  • Maintain integrity of medical records through secure organization and archiving.
  • Prepare, manage and distribute administrative correspondence across the unit.
  • Facilitate release of medical information with privacy and regulatory compliance.
  • Keep databases up-to-date and provide data for reporting and governance.
  • Provide first-response support until advanced care arrives.
