Job summary

TEEMA is seeking a Medical Program Assistant Associate (MPAA) to join our clinical team in an on-site correctional setting. The role focuses on scheduling, medical records stewardship, and information governance to support patients, clinical staff, and leadership.

The MPAA will ensure timely patient care, accurate data entry, and clear communication across departments while maintaining privacy compliance and rapid first-response readiness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of patient scheduling experience in a clinical setting OR 1 year of CNA/MA experience.
• Adaptability to fast-paced clinical environments with competing priorities.
• Meticulous attention to data entry accuracy and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-team collaboration.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and AED training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient appointments and program schedules to maintain efficient workflows.
• Maintain integrity of medical records, including organization, updates, and archiving.
• Prepare and distribute administrative correspondence as a communication bridge for the unit.
• Facilitate timely release of medical information with patient privacy compliance.
• Maintain up-to-date databases and enable reliable reporting for governance.
• Provide first-response support with BLS until advanced care arrives.
• Other duties as assigned.
