TEEMA Group seeks a Medical Program Assistant Associate (MPAA) to coordinate patient scheduling and program activities within a correctional health unit. This on-site role combines medical records stewardship with strong communication across clinical and administrative staff.

The MPAA will ensure efficient scheduling, accurate records management, and privacy-compliant information governance while supporting leadership and patients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1 year of patient scheduling in a clinical setting or 1 year as CNA/MA.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced clinical environments with competing priorities.
  • Attention to detail with high data-entry accuracy.
  • Strong written, spoken, and interpersonal communication across teams.
  • Life Support: BLS certification through AHA and AED training.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient appointments and program schedules to ensure efficient workflows.
  • Maintain integrity of medical records, organizing, updating, and archiving health information.
  • Prepare, manage, and distribute administrative correspondence across the unit.
  • Facilitate accurate release of medical information while protecting patient privacy and complying with regulations.
  • Keep databases up-to-date and provide data for governance reporting.
  • Provide first-response support with basic life support until advanced care arrives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
