Job summary

TEEMA Group is seeking a Medical Program Assistant Associate (MPAA) to join the Health Service Unit. The role focuses on scheduling, medical records stewardship, and clear communication to support patients and clinical staff in a fast-paced environment.

On-site, full-time contract position in a correctional setting, requiring BLS/ AED training and strong data-entry accuracy. You will collaborate with clinicians and administrators to maintain patient safety and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of patient scheduling experience in a clinical setting or 1 year as CNA/MA.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Meticulous data-entry with high accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication across teams.
  • Active BLS certification and AED training.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient appointments and program schedules to ensure efficient clinical workflows.
  • Maintain the integrity of medical records, organizing, updating and archiving health information.
  • Prepare, manage and distribute administrative correspondence across the unit.
  • Facilitate release of medical information with patient privacy and regulatory compliance.
  • Keep databases up-to-date and support reporting for clinical governance.
  • Provide first response support with basic life support when needed until advanced care arrives.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.
