TEEMA seeks a Medical Program Assistant Associate (MPAA) to coordinate patient scheduling, manage medical records, and support clinical operations in a secure on-site health service unit. You will balance patient care coordination with data integrity and act as a welcoming guide for patients and colleagues.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year of scheduling experience in a clinical setting or CNA/MA background, strong communication, and a valid BLS AED training.

Qualifications

  • Experience baseline: 1 year of patient scheduling in a clinical setting or CNA/MA experience.
  • Adaptability: ability to multi-task in a fast-paced clinical environment with competing priorities.
  • Precision: meticulous data-entry with high accuracy.
  • Communication excellence: strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
  • Life Support: active BLS certification (AHA) with AED training.
  • Work type: full-time contract position; on-site in a correctional setting.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Care Scheduling: coordinate appointments and program schedules to ensure efficient workflows.
  • Medical Records Stewardship: maintain integrity of medical records, organize, update, and archive information.
  • Dynamic Communication: prepare, manage, and distribute administrative correspondence across the unit.
  • Information Governance: ensure timely release of medical information with privacy and regulatory compliance.
  • Data Integration: keep databases up-to-date and support reporting for clinical governance.
  • First Response Support: respond to emergencies with life-saving BLS and AED readiness until care arrives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
