TEEMA is seeking a Medical Program Assistant Associate (MPAA) to join its healthcare operations. This on-site, full-time role supports patient scheduling, medical records stewardship, and clear communication across clinical and administrative teams in a correctional setting.

You will manage schedules, ensure data integrity, assist with information governance, and provide first-response support with BLS/AED training, contributing to patient safety and efficient clinical workflows.

Qualifications

  • Experience scheduling patients in a clinical setting or CNA/MA background with 1 year experience.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with high data-entry accuracy.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication across teams.
  • Active BLS certification with AED training.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient appointments and program schedules for efficient clinical workflows.
  • Maintain the integrity of medical records and secure information management.
  • Prepare and distribute administrative correspondence across the unit.
  • Facilitate accurate and timely release of medical information with privacy compliance.
  • Keep databases updated and support data retrieval for governance reporting.
  • Provide first response support with BLS as needed until advanced care arrives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
