Job summary

Healthfirst is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to serve as a Pharmacy Navigator, reviewing medication lists and coordinating MTM interventions to improve adherence and outcomes. You will help members obtain refills, set up appointments, and access medications, while communicating with providers and pharmacies to coordinate care.

The position emphasizes clear written and verbal communication, with responsibilities across intake, documentation, and collaboration with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Experience communicating with patients, providers, and pharmacists.
• Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB/NHA) or licensed Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Review medication lists to support adherence and reduce barriers to therapy.
• Assist members with refills, new prescriptions, appointments, and financial access.
• Coordinate MTM interventions with pharmacists and internal/external partners.
• Monitor member medication adherence with community pharmacies.
• Conduct patient health assessments to identify barriers to adherence.
• Handle member and provider communications by phone or in person when needed.
• Additional duties as required.
