Job summary

Healthfirst is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to serve as the member's Pharmacy Navigator, focusing on medication therapy management and adherence. You will review medication lists, identify barriers, and work with pharmacists to optimize therapy while reducing adverse events.

You will assist with refills, new prescriptions, and scheduling, and you will communicate with providers and community pharmacies to coordinate care. Strong communication and licensing in good standing are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience communicating with patients, providers about medications.
• Nationally certified or licensed technician in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Review medication lists to support adherence and reduce therapy gaps.
• Assist members with refills, new prescriptions, and appointments.
• Coordinate MTM interventions with pharmacists and providers.
• Communicate with community pharmacies to monitor adherence.
• Conduct patient health assessments to identify barriers to adherence.
• Handle member and provider communications by phone or in person as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.
