Job summary

PPMM is seeking a front desk/medical office staff to manage patient check-in and check-out, schedule appointments, collect payments, and secure insurance information while guiding patients through available Planned Parenthood services.

The role requires accurate data entry into the Electronic Practice Management System (EPM), handling donations, and maintaining daily billing accuracy in line with organizational policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate sensitive information across a range of diverse backgrounds (verbal and written).
• General knowledge of Windows based computer applications and willingness to learn new computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide information about services, payment and appointment scheduling.
• Enter patient data into the Electronic Practice Management System (EPM).
• Obtain and secure insurance information and billing details.
• Handle patient check-out and collect fees, including donations.
• Prepare charts and assist in end-of-day reporting and billing corrections.
