Job summary

Oak Street Health in Dallas, TX seeks a Medical Scribe to support primary care providers by documenting patient encounters in real time and ensuring accurate coding. Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications.
• Prior clinical experience, including shadowing and/or volunteering.
• Prior scribe or transcription experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Documenting patient encounters in real time with structured notes including HPI, assessment, plan and exam.
• Support clinical documentation improvement and populate documentation across encounters.
• Provide administrative support such as placing orders and referrals and assisting care team as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
