Position Overview

The Clinical Compliance Specialist (CCS) is responsible for coordinating student and faculty compliance requirements and maintaining compliance records for all students and faculty engaged in experiential learning activities. The CCS confirms partner clinical site requirements and ensures both students and faculty have fulfilled requirements before placement. The CCS escalates instances of non-compliance promptly to ensure the university remains compliant with clinical partners' requirements.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Experience working in clinical, healthcare, office/auditing, or higher education settings.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in clinical, healthcare, office/auditing, or higher education settings.
  • Sales and marketing experience.
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation is based on qualifications, experience, and circumstances. It is uncommon for new employees to start at the top of the salary range. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including tuition waiver and reimbursement, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement plan. The salary range is $43,350 to $58,650.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support Faculty and Students in Clinical Requirements:
    • Manage and evaluate documentation related to clinical education, including health screenings, immunizations, CPR certifications, background and drug screening, fingerprinting, and compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards.
    • Communicate with students and faculty to ensure fulfillment of clinical requirements.
    • Facilitate clinical readiness courses.
    • Escalate non-compliance issues as needed.
  2. Processing and Reporting on Clinical Compliance:
    • Maintain accurate records for reporting purposes.
    • Follow communication protocols to report non-compliance to leadership.
    • Keep records of clinical site requirements and monitor expiration dates and renewals.
  3. Support Accreditation and Regulatory Compliance:
    • Collaborate on regulatory reporting related to clinical activities.
    • Follow guidance for clinical affiliations in new markets to meet state and board requirements.
    • Comply with state/local clinical expectations.
