The Clinical Compliance Specialist (CCS) is responsible for coordinating student and faculty compliance requirements and maintaining compliance records for all students and faculty engaged in experiential learning activities. The CCS confirms partner clinical site requirements and ensures both students and faculty have fulfilled requirements prior to placement. The CCS escalates non-compliance issues promptly to ensure the university remains compliant with clinical partners.

Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience in clinical, healthcare, office/auditing, or higher education settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field.
  • Two years of experience in clinical, healthcare, office/auditing, or higher education settings.
  • Sales and marketing experience.
Pay:

Compensation is based on qualifications, experience, and circumstances. The salary range is $43,350 to $58,650. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including tuition waiver and reimbursement, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement plan.

Responsibilities:
  1. Support Faculty and Students in Clinical Requirements:
    • Manage documentation related to clinical education, including health screenings, immunizations, CPR certifications, background checks, fingerprinting, and compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards.
    • Communicate with students and faculty to ensure clinical requirements are fulfilled in advance of placements.
    • Facilitate clinical readiness courses.
    • Escalate non-compliance issues for intervention.
  2. Processing and Reporting on Clinical Compliance:
    • Maintain accurate records and reporting capabilities.
    • Follow communication protocols to inform leadership of non-compliance.
    • Monitor expiration dates and renewals for compliance.
  3. Support Accreditation and Regulatory Compliance:
    • Collaborate with compliance leadership on regulatory reporting.
    • Follow guidance for clinical affiliations and compliance with state and board requirements.
