The Clinical Compliance Specialist (CCS) is responsible for coordinating student and faculty compliance requirements and maintaining compliance records for all students and faculty engaged in experiential learning activities. The CCS confirms partner clinical site requirements and ensures both students and faculty have fulfilled requirements in advance of placement into the facility. The CCS escalates instances of non-compliance in a timely manner to ensure the university remains compliant with clinical partners' requirements.

Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience working in clinical, healthcare, office/auditing, or higher education settings.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field.
  • 2 years experience in clinical, healthcare, office/auditing, or higher education settings.
  • Sales and marketing experience.
Pay:

Compensation is based on qualifications, experience, and circumstances of each hire. It is uncommon for new employees to start near the top of the salary range. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a tuition waiver and reimbursement, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement plan. The salary range is $43,350 to $58,650.

Responsibilities:
  • Support Faculty and Students to Fulfill Clinical Requirements
    • Manage documentation related to clinical education, including health screenings, immunizations, certifications, background checks, and compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards.
    • Communicate with the assigned population to ensure fulfillment of clinical requirements.
    • Facilitate clinical readiness courses for students.
    • Escalate non-compliance issues for intervention.
  • Facilitate Processing and Reporting on Clinical Compliance
    • Maintain accurate records for reporting.
    • Follow communication protocols to inform leadership of non-compliance.
    • Keep records of clinical site requirements to ensure compliance.
    • Monitor expiration dates and renewals for compliance.
  • Support Accreditation and Regulatory Compliance
    • Collaborate on regulatory reporting with compliance leadership.
    • Follow guidance for clinical affiliations in new markets.
    • Meet state/local clinical requirements for affiliations.
