Job summary

Sysmex America, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Applications Specialist I to support instrument deployment and implementation in multiple US locations. The role combines laboratory know-how with IT workflow expertise in a customer-facing, technical capacity.

Ideal candidates will have hematology experience, ASCP/CLS certification, and strong communication skills. The position involves heavy travel and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years experience in hematology/clinical lab.
• Associate's degree with Medical Technologist credential and 10+ years experience.
• Active ASCP or CLS certification required.
• Strong written and oral communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement Sysmex instruments, middleware, and reagents at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot reagent, middleware, or instrument issues to aid self-sufficiency.
• Develop and deliver training programs and workshops for customers.
• Manage time, territory, and accounts; document activity and drive improvements.
• Provide pre- and post-sale technical support and customer-oriented service.
