Sysmex America, Inc. is hiring a Clinical Applications Specialist I in the United States. The role supports instrument and middleware integration from order to go-live, with on-site training and troubleshooting to ensure successful customer adoption.

The candidate will work across hematology and IT environments, collaborating with sales and service teams. The position requires extensive travel up to 80% and residence near preferred locations such as Albuquerque, NM, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years experience, or an Associate’s degree plus MT/MLT with 10+ years in hematology and hemostasis.
  • Experience may include service in the Armed Forces.
  • Active ASCP or CLS certification required.
  • Supervisory experience desirable.
  • Experience with LIS, HIS or WAM preferred.
  • Working knowledge of CLIA/COLA rules.
  • Strong Hematology experience preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills required.
  • High visibility role with external customers and interpersonal contact.
  • Strong presentation and persuasive skills desirable.
  • Ability to analyze, problem solve and evaluate technical/IT data.
  • Lead complex single/multi-site integration activities (instrument, workflow, middleware).
  • Ability to independently and collaboratively solve complex technical/workflow concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Implement Sysmex instruments, middleware, and reagents at customer sites; plan the implementation and manage timelines.
  • Provide on-site training and support to meet regulatory/validation requirements.
  • Support sales objectives by providing field technical support and acting as a technical consultant.
  • Troubleshoot issues to improve customer self-sufficiency and communicate product issues.
  • Develop training programs for customers and Technical Services.
  • Manage time, territory, and accounts; document activity and drive process improvements.
  • Provide technical information to management and peers; support sales objectives.
  • Provide pre-sale and post-sale support including technical presentations and demos.
  • Manage company assets and expenses per guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
