Job summary

Sysmex America, Inc. seeks a Clinical Applications Specialist I to support the integration of Sysmex instruments and middleware in customer laboratories.

The role includes on-site implementation, training, troubleshooting, and collaboration with sales and technical teams to ensure successful customer adoption. Qualified candidates will have hematology experience, ASCP/CLS certification, strong communication skills, and the willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years hematology lab experience, or Associate's with MT/MLT and 10+ years
• Active ASCP or CLS certification required
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience with LIS, HIS or WAM preferred
• Laboratory and IT environment experience beneficial

Responsibilities

• Implement Sysmex instruments and middleware at customer sites
• Troubleshoot reagent, middleware, or instrument issues to improve self-sufficiency
• Develop and deliver training programs for customers and Technical Services
• Manage time, territory, and accounts; document activity; pursue process improvements
• Provide technical information to management and peers; support sales objectives
• Demonstrate strong communication, urgency, and goal-setting
• Provide pre-sale and post-sale support, demos and evaluations
• Manage company assets and expenses per guidelines
• Other duties as assigned
