Job summary

Sysmex America, Inc. is seeking a Specialist I, Clinical Applications for CA, FL, IL, MA, NM, WA to support instrument and middleware integration in laboratory environments.

The role includes on-site installation, training, and collaboration with customers to meet regulatory and validation requirements. The ideal candidate has hematology expertise, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to travel extensively (up to 80%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 3–5 years hematology experience, or Associate's degree plus Medical Technologist/MLT with 10+ years.
• Active ASCP or CLS certification required.
• Strong written and oral communication; supervisory experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Implement Sysmex instruments, middleware and reagents at customer sites and manage integration timelines.
• Troubleshoot reagent, middleware or instrument performance to improve customer self-sufficiency and document issues.
• Develop and deliver training programs and workshops for customers and Technical Services.
• Provide pre-sale and post-sale technical support, including demonstrations and evaluations.
