Job summary

Sysmex America, Inc. is seeking a Specialist I, Clinical Applications to support laboratory environments in multiple states. This role focuses on implementing systems, training, and technical support for hematology applications, with extensive travel (75%+).

You will serve as a technical consultant to customers and sales, ensuring successful integration of Sysmex solutions from order to go-live. The ideal candidate has hematology experience, LIS/HIS familiarity, ASCP/CLS certification, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years experience or an Associate's degree with Medical Technologist/MLT and 10+ years hematology experience.
• Active ASCP or CLS certification required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with laboratory IT systems and workflow is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement Sysmex instruments, middleware, and reagents at customer sites; manage implementation timelines.
• Troubleshoot reagent, middleware, or instrument issues to improve customer self-sufficiency.
• Develop and deliver training programs for customers and Technical Services.
• Manage territory and accounts, document activity, and drive process improvements.
• Provide technical information to management and peers; support sales objectives.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, with urgency and results orientation.
• Provide pre-sale and post-sale technical support, including instrument demos and trade shows.
• Manage company assets and expenses per policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
