Job summary

Sysmex America, Inc. is seeking a Specialist I, Clinical Applications to support lab instrument integration and hematology workflows across multiple U.S. sites. You will train customers, troubleshoot, and collaborate with sales engineering to optimize performance and adoption.

The role requires strong communication, technical presentation skills, and the ability to travel extensively to customer sites. A hematology background and ASCP/CLS certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years hematology experience or Associate's + Medical Technologist degree with 10+ years experience.
• Active ASCP or CLS certification is required.
• Experience with LIS/HIS systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement Sysmex instruments, middleware, and reagents into customer sites and manage the integration process.
• Provide on-site training and perform workflow optimization to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot instrument and reagent performance and communicate issues to product teams.
• Support sales objectives and act as a technical consultant to customers.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations and workshops for customers and field teams.
• Manage time, territory, and accounts while documenting activity and promoting process improvements.
• Provide pre-sale and post-sale support including demos and evaluations.
• Ensure responsible management of company assets and expenses.
